Craft in step with the moon
At Hjertero, each tincture is made in small batches, by hand, and always in step with the rhythm of nature. I harvest the herbs when they are at their strongest, and I bottle the tinctures according to the phases of the moon – as herbalists and healers have done for generations before us. For me, this is not about rushing, but about being present. When I harvest during a waxing moon, when I bottle a batch on a blood moon, or when I bottle on a full moon, it is when I bottle on a full moon. It gives time, peace and respect to both the plant and the product. Each tincture therefore carries its own little story: what day it was planted, what moon was in the sky, and what conditions the herbs grew under. Some batches are made on sunny summer days, others under the northern lights or in the still autumn air. This is not mass production. This is craftsmanship – slow, genuine and down to earth. And that is how I want Hjertero to feel: as something made with heart, time and nature's own rhythm.
